Target Group

Robot/system programmers and start-up personnel

Objective

The goal of the seminar is to be able to:

  • Use KUKA.Workvisual as a programming environment (IDE)
  • Declare and use complex variables, loops and local sub- programs in KRL (KUKA robot language)
  • Program user messages in KRL
  • Program movements with calculated positions and relative movements
  • Program reactions to sensor or plc input by using interrupt programming

  • Seminar: Robot Programming 1 (KSS 8.x)

  • Working with WorkVisual development environment
    • Adapting and transferring robot projects
    • Creating programs via remote access
  • Structured programming with KUKA Robot Language
    • Variables and declarations
    • Subprograms and functions
    • Message programming
    • Creating and modifying programmed motions
    • Programming of spline motions
    • Manipulating points
    • Working with system variables
    • Interrupt programming
    • Using logic functions in the robot program
  • Creating and programming individual submits
  • Detecting and avoiding robot collisions
    • Configuring and using collision detection
    • Configuring workspaces for system safety
Completion
  • The course ends with an achievement test
  • A certificate is issued on successful completion of the course
